As we have introduced in the previous blog that solar mini rail or rail less solution are the most cost effective way for solar metal tin roof energy system.

But how exactly to choose the mini rail?

There are actually a difference between solar mini rail solution and solar railless solution.

For mini rail solution, the rail is still regarded as a rail and the mini rail is to be fastened to the tin roof purlin. This solution are widely used in European market with higher snow resistance.

Rail length usually 300mm, 330mm, 350mm, 400mm.

The gap between 2 pitch added the 2 top width is the shortest range for rail.

While in the more mild situation the railless solution are applied. And the solution is usually U30 with 20mm width in the bottom or U50 with 40mm width in the bottom to be suitable.

For railless solution, the length is usually depends on the customer as well as the holes they need. But the common length are 180mm, 210mm, 250mm.
