We get this all the time while meeting with customers, why do you make the design like this? Where did you get the idea? What pushed your company for innovation?
To make the design not just based on price and quality, HQ Mount also went to the solar system installation site to hear the solar construction team’s ideas.
In 2022 HQ Mount was invited to a large-scale solar mounting construction site which we found:
1, Rail clamp installation takes too much time and strength not enough
2, Rail splice strength is not enough
3, Rail clamp sometimes doesn’t have a hole to install, and if it does, it’s not in the right direction
Actually, we have visited dozens of pv projects every year, and we took time to talk to the installer who spends most of the time in the field.
For the above situations HQ Mount presented the patented products:
Rail clamp which doesn’t request a hole in the rail.
Rail clamps for easier installation.
For large-scale solar systems, this saves cost and time. We believe that what makes a good engineer it must be years of knowing what’s actually happening in the solar construction site and not sitting at the office imagining what will the weather be like.
