Types by flange
Flange Top (with plate): Most common, widely used – features a pre-drilled flange for bolted connections
Tube Top (without plate): Symmetrically welded with 3 or 6 M12 bolts (M16 on request) at the top
Standard Flange Sizes (76mm Diameter)-180mm – 8mm thickness/ 200mm – 8mm thickness (most common, 8 radiating elongated holes – default option)/ 220mm – 10mm thickness
Types by Leaf / Helix
Small Leaf: 10mm width, 2mm thickness – market standard, most common
Large Leaf: Outer diameter 176mm, 200mm, 250mm – for soft soils like sand, beach, landfill, agricultural areas

- Soil Suitability
Suitable soils: Clay soil, sandy soil
- Not suitable:
Permafrost / frozen soil: Cannot be used during freeze periods – seasonal construction required
Very low N-value soil: N=1 soils can still use ground screws, but the required quantity increases dramatically, making the cost prohibitive
Large rock / boulder areas: Not recommended. For areas with small rocks, alloy drill bits can be welded to the screw head
- Pull-Out Capacity
Pull-out capacity is evaluated on two levels:
1. Screw itself: The tensile strength of the screw – design values available upon request
2. Screw + soil interaction:
Small projects: Based on experience values
Medium projects: Calculated based on client-provided N-values
Large projects: Calculated selection + on-site pull-out testing required
